John of John Gets I.T. has been helping individuals and companies since 1992 when he was just, “That kid in the neighborhood that could set a VCR, get the Cable TV working again, oh… and FIX THAT @#$%-ing computer!”

As the I.T. world changed and evolved John met Mary Mackin whose skills as a programmer helped fill in holes in his repertoire.

Over time it became evident that even the most savvy among us have that thing we just don’t understand. But, John was lucky to not only understand that thing but to also have the empathy and compassion to communicate what was wrong and why to those that needed help, but don’t get that thing.

Thus we founded John Gets I.T. with the goal of not just fixing issues but doing so in a way that tries our best not to make folks feel bad or dumb… just because you don’t get what’s wrong! So whether you are an executive or a grandmother (or god bless you both) John and Mary are here not just to help fix the problem but do so in a way that doesn’t have you tossing and turning all night thinking, “That repair guy was a jerk, I should have told him off!”
